WHAT IS ENERGY MEDICINE?
Like everything in this world, we are surrounded by energy, and our own bodies are surrounded by forces of electric, magnetic, subtle, and light energies that keep us in tune, balanced, and connected. This theory has been proven by the likes of Einstein who proved that energy and matter are interchangeable - thus our whole world is made of energy and everything in it too. The idea of energy medicine draws on these beliefs that our bodies are brimming with vibrational energies and frequencies. Sometimes, these frequencies can become unbalanced, out of sync, blocked, or undergo negative changes. This can lead to poor health or emotional turmoil and feelings of stagnancy. Energy medicine can be used to bring your frequencies back into alignment so that your own energy flow has space to circulate in the body. This can be how we feel at our most vibrant and vital best. Energy medicine can work across the emotional and the physical body - as they are intrinsically linked. I use either modalities or a combination of both listed below during your session. I’m including a summary of each and happy to answer any questions you may have.
IS REIKI OR ENERGY MEDICINE A RELIGION?
Although Reiki and Pattern Magick are spiritual in nature, they are not a religion. Practitioners will not ask you to change any religious or spiritual beliefs you may have. You are free to continue believing anything you choose and are encouraged to make your own decisions concerning the nature of your religious practices.
HOW IS A SESSION GIVEN?
In a standard treatment, energy flows from the practitioners’ hands into the client. The client is usually lying on a massage table, but treatments can also be given while the client is seated or even standing. The client remains fully clothed. The practitioner places her/his hands on or near the client’s body in a series of hand positions and may sweep the body. These include positions around the head and shoulders, the stomach, and feet. Other, more specific positions may be used based on the client’s needs. Each position is held for as long as is needed. The treatment session lasts between 45 and 60 minutes.
WHAT DOES A SESSION FEEL LIKE?
What one experiences during a session varies somewhat from person to person. However, feelings of deep relaxation are usually felt by all. In addition, many feel a wonderful glowing radiance that flows through and surrounds them. As the energy encourages one to let go of all tension, anxiety, fear, or other negative feelings a state of peace and well-being is experienced. Some drift off to sleep or report floating outside their bodies or have visions and other mystical experiences. At the end of the treatment, one feels refreshed with a more positive, balanced outlook.
WHAT CAN BE TREATED?
Reiki and Pattern Magick have had a positive effect on all forms of illness and negative conditions. This includes minor things like head or stomach aches, bee stings, colds, flu, tension, and anxiety as well as serious illnesses like heart disease, cancer, leukemia, etc. The side effects of regular medical treatments have also been reduced or eliminated. This includes the negative effects of chemotherapy, post-operative pain, and depression as well as improving the healing rate and reducing the time needed to stay in the hospital. Reiki always helps and, in some cases, people have experienced complete healings which have been confirmed by medical tests before and after the Reiki treatments. However, while some have experienced miracles, they cannot be guaranteed. Stress reduction with some improvement in one’s physical and psychological condition is what most experience.
DO YOU HAVE TO STOP SEEING YOUR DOCTOR OR THERAPIST?
No. Reiki and Pattern Magick work in harmony with medical or psychological treatment. If one has a medical or psychological condition, it is recommended that one see a licensed healthcare professional in addition to receiving treatments. Reiki and Pattern Magick complement all other forms of healthcare, including prescriptions, surgery, psychological care, or any other method of alternative care, and will improve the results.

- REIKI is a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation that also promotes healing. It is administered by “laying on hands” and is based on the idea that an unseen “life force energy” flows through us and is what causes us to be alive. If one’s “life force energy” is low, then we are more likely to get sick or feel stressed, and if it is high, we are more capable of being happy and healthy. Reiki heals by flowing through the affected parts of the energy field and charging them with positive energy. It raises the vibratory level of the energy field in and around the physical body where the negative thoughts and feelings are attached. This causes the negative energy to break apart and fall away. In so doing, Reiki clears, straightens, and heals the energy pathways, thus allowing the life force to flow in a healthy and natural way.
- PATTERN MAGICK is the art of grasping intuitive patterns of light to weave into the aura and subtle energy body. As an Energy Weaver, I’m able to weave patterns of energy within the aura and subtle energy body, specific to what my client needs. Pattern Magick works with the premise that everything in existence is made of light and has an energetic signature (sound and vibration), and that change can manifest in our cells for physical and emotional healing. By weaving strings of energy and light in specific patterns, directly into the body and aura I’m able to go into a place of deep listening, allowing the divine consciousness within the energy itself to unfold and direct me to what needs to happen next.
